What We Do
Germ Defense Delaware provides medical grade disinfectant treatments and protection to home, business, healthcare, veterinary and recreational environments; using the most scientifically advanced and EPA Certified disinfecting solutions and the most technologically advanced application protocol. Germ Defense offers two (2) levels of disinfection treatment plus a microbial deterrent treatment for lasting defense.
We disinfect high contact areas and/or items utilizing a high-level disinfectant (HOCL) that functions as a bactericide, fungicide, target dissporicide and virucide with up to log 6 reduction (99.9999%) against many microbials including, but not limited to, MRSA, C-diff, Salmonella enterica, Swine Influenza Virus, HIV-1. Germ Defense uses electrostatic mist application which results in wrap-around coverage of the entire targeted area as opposed to much less effective spray and wipe applications.
Whole Room Disinfection
Utilizing the Halosil Disinfection System, Germ Defense provides disinfection to home and commercial environments that is used in hospitals and universities throughout the country, including the United States Naval Academy, the United States Military Academy (West Point) Pennsylvania University Hospital System and locally Beebe Health System. The Halosil Dry Mist application generates a turbulent dry mist of broad spectrum disinfectant (H2O2 with antimicrobial silver ions) that kills a broad range of bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores with a 99.9999 % validated kill of C-Diff spores. This application disperses throughout the entire room covering every area beyond the reach of sprays, wipes or UV lights.
Microbial Deterrent Treatment
Germ Defense utilizes an EPA registered Bio-Static antimicrobial using electrostatic application to chemically bond to the treated surface. This antimicrobial surface coating has a unique electronically charged spiked molecular structure that attracts offending microbes, punctures the cell wall, thus destroying them. Our Deterrent Treatment can be applied after either of our Disinfection treatments to defend treated surfaces and items up to ninety (90) days and more in some cases. Deterrent period will vary depending on frequency of contact and use of certain chemical cleaners.
